Our Cloud & Bridge Community is about Bridging Uncommon Love with Common Life. Common life is what we share with all people. Uncommon Love is what God has for all people. Jesus is where those two realities meet.
Behind Cloud and Bridge is the vision: Bridging Uncommon Love with Common Life. We humans know that we all participate in deep brokenness, restless hearts looking for peace, fragmented community, and an —intuitively perceived— divide between us and the divine. Many of us strive to grow out of this, but we keep coming back to the same place we started.
Yet, the Christian faith is counter intuitive, or at least it should be. It’s not about us striving, formulating, or constructing, but us simply hearing good news amid our brokenness, and that good news has a name, Jesus. He is the peace that finds us, he is the love that pieces together the broken relationships, and he is the bridge between God and us. We believe that this creates space for an eclectic community to thrive.
Cloud and Bridge is a ministry of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church and is seeking to explore and live out this reality of God’s love for us, in Christ.

Our weekly gatherings consist of a laid-back liturgy. Liturgy has some religious undertones, but that’s okay. It simply means we express the different aspects of human life lived before a God who is love. This involves awe, honesty, learning, and humility. This takes the form of music, silence, poetic prayers, Biblical teaching, and the ancient act of communion. This is mixed together with a twist of obscure cultural references and occasional irreverent humor.
Justin Richter is the pastor who casts vision through teaching and servant leadership. He studied at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Has one wife, three kids, three cats. He is allergic to bee stings.
Daniel Ignacio Headley Perches engineers our weekly liturgy and works with musicians, among other things. He studied at Denver Seminary. He has one wife, two kids, a dog. He likes spreadsheets.
